Sunday, November 15, 2020 at 3pm Ivan Akansiima trio

Ivan Akansiima is a multi-instrumentalist, Christian faith worship leader, Jazz musician, composer, arranger, producer, instructor, and researcher from Uganda East Africa. His music is rooted in Ugandan folk music traditions, Jazz, Gospel, Classical, Caribbean, Afro fusion music etc. He has performed professionally for over 15 years in 40 countries, including a national music tour across 50 states in USA and Canada in 2010. Ivan is an area resident and popular contributor to our local music scene who will be accompanied by a bassist and drummer and provide a not-to-be-missed concert.

This concert is presented in collaboration with Foundry Hall and is supported in part by grants from The Greater South Haven Area Community Foundation and Entergy Palisades Power Plant.
