100 Years of LGBTQ History

January 18, 2022 A Century of Progress: 100 Years of LGBTQ History

By Eric Gollannek

Director of The Saugatuck-Douglas History Center (SDHC), Eric Gollannek, will share the history of the LGBTQ community in Saugatuck. On September 4, 2021, the SDHC celebrates the opening of the exhibit “A Century of Progress: 100 years of LGBTQ History in Saugatuck-Douglas”. This timeline exhibit commemorates and celebrates the trailblazers that have made the community a ‘home for all’. We will learn about the SDHC and the places and people that make up this beautiful area on our west Michigan lakeshore.
