October 1, 2019 – Let’s Peek Into the Art Center

Kerry Hagy, Executive Director of the South Haven Center for the Arts and Carol Myers, Exhibition Committee Chair and Curator will update us on continuing and new exhibits in the 2019 and 2020 season. They will talk to us about the Annual Juried Exhibition with this year’s theme Innovations in Fiber. In addition, they are very excited that a famous traveling exhibit will be visiting South Haven and we at Scott Club will be one of the first to be informed.

September 21, 2019 – Open House at the Scott Club
Open House from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. – all welcome.
South Haven Scott Club invites the community to tour its 126-year-old Michigan Historic Site on the corner of Phoenix and Pearl Streets. Walk through the main entrance and take a step back in time. Learn about the historic building and club with a short walk through the main meeting room and then enjoy light refreshments in the lower level. Vintage attire optional!
September 17, 2019 – Keep Our Trains Running

1:00 p.m. at Senior Center, 1635 76th Street, South Haven – RSVP required
Mr. Fritz the West Michigan Chapter Chairman for the Michigan Association of Railroad Passengers will discuss the history of the Amtrak Pere Marquette line and how it serves Michigan today. He is a long-distance train traveler and has traveled extensively both in this country & internationally.

Drop off donations on June 3rd and June 5th between 10am and 2pm
It is never too early to start gathering items for donation! Please keep us in mind during your Spring cleaning, when you are moving, or simply tidying up.
Consider becoming a volunteer. By working together in a fun and social environment, collecting, sorting, pricing, and displaying recycled merchandise for sale at a reasonable cost, we achieve a common goal of providing funds for Scott Club.
